is a Japanese singer and J-Pop idol who made her debut on 31 August 1987. She was also a member of the groups Onyanko Club and Ushirogami Hikaretai. Kudo also appears on television in jidaigeki roles.
She is also known as the Japanese voice of Megara in the Japanese dub of the 1997 Disney film Hercules, opposite Tokio drummer Masahiro Matsuoka, playing the title role.
Kudo was born in Chūō, Tokyo, and married SMAP member Takuya Kimura in 2000.
