Very DisappointedI never made it all the way through the album--I was listening to it on my car CD player and had to pull it out because I kept falling asleep. Laura Marling has a wonderful voice--I heard some of her tracks on NPR and eagerly picked up a copy of the album. But between the songs themselves, the arrangements, and the whole flavor of the album, I felt like I was listening to slightly updated '60's easy-pop. I kept expecting the Ray Conniff Singers or Lulu or maybe "The Girl from Ipanema" to turn up…
