They're baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!! And, not a minute too soon. Patti, Nona & Sarah still have it all goin' on! An amazing album!

Patti's soaring soulful vocals; Nona's optimal funk; and, Sarah's exquisite harmonizing have always been the stuff of Musical Legend. Labelle is still fresh after 32 long years of absence from the Music Scene.

Having had the privilege of bearing witness to their many 'incarnations' from the Bluebelles to their solo careers, this musically jaded writer can sincerely say this is one of their top musical endeavors.

Don't wait for Santa to be kind to you - get this fabulous album now. You'll be playing it over and over and discovering new delights each time you play it. BRAVA DIVAS!!!

Boy, where do I start? I'll try and keep this short. If you're thinking about buying this newest Labelle CD "Back To Now," and you do NOT own their album "Chameleon," buy "Chameleon" instead.

You'll still get the 70s sound that is quite prevalent in their newest offering but you will get a classic soul album from these talented ladies.

Like many of the other reviewers here, I have been a huge fan of Labelle since the 70s. I have most of their albums on VINYL and count them as one of my favorite vocal groups. That said, I am hugely disappointed with "Back To Now."

Most of "Back To Now" is made up of boring, mediocre music. Patti's voice IS way too loud; they keep Nona and Sarah's voices hidden in the background. It's really not fair. I love Patti Labelle but c'mon, Patti; these ladies are members of the group too. Don't be such a Diva.

The songs that aren't stuck in the 70s, or that echo the 70s, aren't that exciting either. Most of the current singers and producers that "contribute" to this project seem to be going through the motions.

And, why oh why, would such great singers like Labelle use the vocal effect "Auto Tone" that Cher used on her super-hit "Believe." This gimmick does nothing for the song but make it embarrassing. I could see if it was a techno or electronica song but it's just lame here.

I sincerely wanted to love this album but I can't even listen to it again for a while. I do admit that are a few songs on this cd that are OK, but that's not saying much for what could/should have been an amazing project. These ladies should have kept the glitter and feathers in the closet because they didn't deliver a great Labelle album.

Maybe some groups should just fade away so that we can remember them as the true stars they were.
