I just saw the Freaky Friday movie and I loved it so much, and I loved the songs in it. I immediately went and bought the soundtrack for a amazingly low price. I was happy that I had the songs that Lindsay Lohan and her band sing (that song that she plays at the Wango Tango tryouts and in the garage when her mother turns off the electricity is another girl's song, read below to know what I think of each song!)

1. Lindsay Lohan "Ultimate" 10/10

The song she sings during the end credits and at her mom's wedding, a perfect inclusion!

2. Simple Plan "Happy Together" 8/10

One of the few remakes on this CD, an okay remake.

3. Lillix "What I Like About You" 9/10

An improved remake, perfect for Lillix.

4. American Hi-Fi "The Art of Losing" 7/10

One of the bad songs on the CD, AHF used to be good back in the Flavor of the Week days but they're a little washed out.

5. Forty Foot Echo "Brand New Day" 10/10

Never heard of them but this is a good song!

6. Halo Friendlies "Me Vs. The World" 10/10

I would love to play this song on the guitar if I only knew how to play!

7. Christina Vidal "Take Me Away" 10/10

The song that Lindsay's band plays! Glad it's on here!

8. Chad Michael Murray "Baby One More Time (Intro)" 0/10

What a waste of space! Made my ears bleed!

9. Bowling For Soup "Baby One More Time" 10/10

A good reason to like this song again!

10. The Donnas "Backstage" 10/10

"The Female Ramones" rock on this song!

11. Andrew W.K. "She Is Beautiful" 11/10

I LOVE THIS SONG IT IS AWESOME!

12. Diffuser "I Wonder" 9/10

Cool song!

13. Lash "Beauty Queen" 7/10

BORING!!!!!

14. Ashlee Simpson "Just Let Me Cry" 1/10

Basking in the light of her sister, sad very sad, and a cheap sounding imitation of No Doubt too!

15. Joey Ramone "What A Wonderful World" 12/10

JOEY'S BACK! sad that it is a remake but I'm glad he's back!

16. Rolfe Kent "Fortune Cookie?" 10/10

I liked the score to the movie but they could have done without including this on the music soundtrack. Not in place. Its a good track though!

THIS IS WHAT A SOUNDTRACK SHOULD BE!

I believe that the last reviewer is sadly mistaken. There are no obscene or profain words in any of the songs on this CD. You must have this soundtrack confused with the soundtrack from some other movie. If there had been and foul language anywhere on this CD, it would have had a Parental Advicary label on the cover of the CD. There isn't one on this CD.

AS for the music itself, I've heard better, and I've heard worse. Some of the songs are good (like "Ultimate", What I Like About You" "Happy Together", and "What A Wonderful World"), while others aren't that good (the other songs on this soundtrack). If you're a fan of some of the groups on this CD, then you might want to get this one for your collection. If you're like me, and only care for a few of the artists on the soundtrack, I'd skip this CD.
