Give it a chance, it's a great CD!I've been a fan for a wile and I can understand how some may feel a little disappointed with this CD since it's not as hard as their old stuff. They seem to be progressing much like all good artists do, which I think is a good thing. I'd say just try to listen to the album on it's own and after listening to it a couple of times you will come to love it.Plus, I think this version (with 4 extra acoustic tracks of Soft Shock, Skeletons, Hysteric, and Little Shadow) is well wort the extra few buck…
Miles away from miles awayThe band has changed course, and not in a good way. They have flown miles away from the rockin miles away of the past. Zero is the only song that hints at their old greatness (and by hint, I mean sounds like Blondie from the 80s even more than the rockin YYYs of the last decade). If you put their Art Star next to any of these songs you would swear this is a different band. RIP YYYs, I will miss you very much, I was so in love with your older stuff.
