4 stars A great party C.D......an even better movie.
A party to end all parties kinda movie. The soundtrack would stand very well at your next house party too I think. Everything from varied forms of hip-hop, techno, hard alternative and a very Bowie'ish final track (London Suede's "Trash"). The movie bedazzles a bit more than it's soundtrack but both are by far another good production from one of L.A.'s most provocative film director's.

3 stars Not enough...
As is the case with many films, the soundtrack CD can only include so much material, and when this film had a listing of something around 30 songs in its soundtrack, you KNEW that a significant number of them would get cut. Perhaps rightly so. Sonic Youth, NIN, Filter, Cocteau Twins, the songs by those bands that were in the film can easily be found on albums already released by those respective bands. Yet, as it was so with "Strange Days," another underappreciated movie that had a soundtrack so…
