Some good songs, but...Let's get one thing straight, Nirvana WAS a punk band. Kurt grew up listening to punk rock. His favorite band was the Sex Pistols for a time (his favorite bands otherwise were the Beatles and the Pixies), his first concert he went to was a Black Flag show, and Nirvana actually opened for DOA a few times (he and Courtney met at a DOA concert).
