Overview Edit

The all-important follow up to "Waterloo" that started a string of less successful singles that would plague the group for the next year or so. In the UK, which ABBA considered the 'home of pop music,' their record company chose a remixed version of "Ring Ring" as the next single, leaving "Honey Honey" unreleased. A cover version of the song by another group was a decent sized hit, while "Ring Ring" barely cracked the charts. In the US, "Honey Honey" was a mid-chart hit. The song's middle bridge used the boy-girl duet theme of 1972's "People Need Love" and "He Is Your Brother" singles.
