Overview Edit

By the spring of '75, the third album from ABBA was taking shape. The group felt that "I Do, I Do..." had wide commercial appeal, and released it as the second single from the album. The 1950's sound, heavily layered with saxophones, did not appeal to as many people as they thought it would. However, it was #1 in South Africa and Australia. It also placed in the top ten in five other countries. Still, in the UK, it was yet another ABBA flop. The group was finding the level of Eurovision One Hit Wonder hard to shake.
