5 stars Perfect Mix Of Early Santana & Journey
This record SHOULD have been huge, but alas that was not to be. With four members of 1969 Santana Band: Greg Rolie, Michael Shrieve, Jose "Chepito" Areas and Michael Carabello, Joined together with Santana's most famous 'Second' Guitarist and founding member (With Greg Rolie) of Journey, Neal Schon and later-day Santana bassist Alphonso Johnson. 3 stars Can't Recreate Original Santana Sound
I bought this album because it featured all of the members of the original Santana group on Santana (III), minus their original bassist and Carlos, but I soon found out that they couldn't recreate the Santana sound. While the album is not bad, its not really that great either. There are a few good songs such as Szabo, but many of their songs are just plain average. Recommended for die hard Santana fans only.
