Amos Lee is an American singer-songwriter born in 1977 whose gentle style fuses elements of jazz, folk and country. He learned his craft while at University and soon after he graduated his intended career in teaching was abandoned, replaced by a career in music. A self produced five song EP introduced his talents to Blue Note Records and to Norah Jones, who invited him to open for her on her 2004 tour.
His first album was released in 2005 and did well on the US Heatseekers chart, reaching No.2. Several of the songs were picked up by television shows, including House and Grey's Anatomy. His second and most recent album is Supply and Demand the success of which has consolidated his earlier accomplishment.
