Amy Grant's freshman Christmas effort quite goodThis is the first, chronologically, of three Amy Grant Christmas albums. Each subsequent album is better than the one before. Highlights of this album, for me, are her cover of Michael W. Smith's rather sparse "Emmanuel" and a new musical setting of the lyrics for "O Little Town of Bethlehem" - very fresh and somewhat exhilirating. I also enjoy the lovely "Tennesse Christmas" which I first heard performed by the country group Alabama.
