Biography

Edit

Anberlin is an American alternative rock band formed in 2002 from the remnants of the Christian punk band, SaGoh. The current members of Anberlin are Stephen Christian, Deon Rexroat, Joseph Milligan, Nathan Young and Christian McAlhaney.

Their first album as Anberlin was 2003's Blueprints for the Black Market which sold fairly well, spurred on by the success of the single "Readyfuels". They followed this with 2005's Never take Friendship Personal and it garnered a certain amount of positive critical comment.

2007 was a busy year and resulted in the release of two albums, Cities and Lost Songs though the latter was a compilation of unreleased material from the lifetime of the band. Cities debuted at No.19 on the Billboard chart and was their best chart performance to date.

They released their fourth album titled New Surrender on September 30th.
