Kind of a Yawner...Well-crafted pop songs but where's the quirkiness that I've come to know and love in Bent over their past two full-length recordings? Their kitschy samples were what separated them from the millions of other ambient, downtempo, and, dare I say it, adult contemporary bands out there. Now it's just all seeming like so much of the other fluffy, Enya ripoff schlock that's on the market these days. Haven't picked up the 'Flavour Country' EP yet but after giving this one several serious hard listenings, I'm a bit hesitant to do so....
