Love the genre, love the music. . .I first heard Blackmore Night on Tampa's wonderful, listener-supported community radio station several weeks ago and was swept off my feet (well, would have been if I wasn't in my car driving to work) by Candice Night's beautiful, ethereal vocals. This is great background music....The musicianship of this is pretty good, but Ms. Night's voice, though pleasing, is not exceptional. If she does have the ability, she doesn't take too many chances. The lyrics aren't too weighty either. However, having said all that, I didn't feel cheated buying this CD, but I wouldn't go out of the way for anymore like this.
