Overview Edit

Buddha is the third and final demo by the American pop punk band Blink-182. It was self-produced by the band, and was released in 1993 through Filter Records. It contains songs from Blink-182’s earlier demos and from their major label debut album Cheshire Cat. The album was one of the few Blink-182 albums released with the band name as Blink. There was an album called "Buddha Demo Promo", but it is fake and fan-made dispute popular belief.

It is currently the only Blink-182 demo commercially available and sold. It was originally released on cassette, and a remastered version was released through Kung-Fu Records on October 27, 1998. This version uses the corrected name Blink-182.

Had they waited a week until Mark's condition cleared up, this could have been a 5-star CD. Other than that, it's a great CD with classic songs (early versions of "Cheshire Cat" favorites) but they should have thrown in the 2 songs on the original demo tape: early versions o…

3 stars good cd, but not their best(actually 3 1/2 stars)
this is a good cd...as a matter of fact anything blink 182 puts out is gonna be a good cd, but this one didnt quite strike my intrest once i started listening to it. i know mark was sick when they were recording it. although there are some very good songs on it. my favorite is the alternate version of carousel. on the whole, this is a good cd and if you want to see what blink 182 is all about then i sugest you pick this one up. they are some pretty good tracks on this one, but my favorite will always be dude ranch.
