Overview Edit

Greatest Hits is a greatest hits compilation album by the American pop punk band Blink-182. The compilation was released on October 31, 2005. A DVD, similarly titled Greatest Hits, was also released, featuring the same title and cover. The disc included most of the band's music videos.

The compilation was based on the breakup of the band earlier in the year. It is essentially a collection of the band’s most successful singles, with two new songs. Blink-182 eventually announced their reformation in February 2009. Greatest Hits was the last official Blink-182 release until the band announced their reformation.

5 stars The final chapter?
This album is a collection of 15 of Blink 182's greatest hits, one unreleased song (Not Now) and one new song (Another Girl, Another Planet). The songs play in chronological order, based on when they were released. Two songs from Cheshire Cat, two from Dude Ranch, three from Enema of the State, one from The Enema strikes back, three from Take off Your Pants... and four from the self titled album. This collection couldn't be better and really encompasses who Blink 182 were.

3 stars Not the greatest hits....
I've been a Blink fan for quite some time... and I have found that some of the songs that radio deems fit for play are definatly not their best. This album shouldn't be a greatest hits but a "song played on the radio" album. If you want greatest hits of Blink 182, just go get one of their albums and see that they have a lot better songs. I'm not saying these songs are bad, and some really are GREAT, but I still think there are better Blink songs... just my opinion...
