Biography

Edit

The Bloodhound Gang is an American rock band which formed in 1992. The current members of the band are Jimmy Pop, DJ Q-Ball, Evil Jared Hasselhoff, Lüpüs Thünder and The Yin. They have made a career out of dubious locker room humour; including songs titled "Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny" and "A Lap Dance Is So Much Better When The Stripper Is Crying".

Their first EP, Dingleberry Haze was released in 1994 and their first full length album Use Your Fingers followed a year later. The album was not a success and the band was dropped by their record label. They signed to Geffen and their follow-up, One Fierce Beer Coaster (1996), fared rather better, reaching No.57 in the Billboard 200. Their third album Hooray for Boobies was released in 1999 and proved to be a multi million seller, propelled in part by the success of the single "The Bad Touch".

Their most recent album was 2005's Hefty Fine which reached No.24 on the Billboard charts though the fanbase had dissipated somewhat in the six year gap between records. A new album is being written and the track "Screwing You On The Beach At Night" was released towards the end of 2007.
