Blue Six is the brainchild of producer Jay Denes who gathers together artists to produce electronic music. Their music has influences from house, soul and jazz. Blue Six's debut album Beautiful Tomorrow, which included collaborations with Dave Boonshoft and multi-instrumentalist Mark Anthony Jones, was released in 2002 to critical acclaim. The follow-up album, Aquarian Angel, was released in 2007 involving contributions from Aya, Lisa Shaw and Catherine Russell who make a return from the first album for vocal duties.
