Biography

Edit

Bad-boy R&B singer Bobby Brown may be best known as the former spouse of pop/R&B songstress Whitney Houston. Brown began his career in the 80s boy-band New Edition. After three albums with New Edition, Brown was voted out for his bad behaviour. After his departure Brown embarked on a solo career and had several R&B top ten hits most notably "My Prerogative" (88). Brown has had numerous run-ins with the law and in 2003 he spent 65 days in jail for parole violations stemming from a drunk driving conviction. He has also suffered from substance abuse problems and has been accused of spousal abuse.
