Biography

Edit

It took a while for alt-metal band Breaking Benjamin to break. Although they had released a successful eponymous EP -- which resulted in them signing with [Hollywood Records in 2001 -- their debut album Saturate (2002) failed to perform as well as had been hoped, with singles “Polyamorous” and “Skin” quickly disappearing off the music radar.

Their fortunes changed with the second album We Are Not Alone (2003). The success of the single “So Cold” resulted in the album achieving platinum status. After a tour with Godsmack they released Phobia (2007) and though it did not perform as well as its predecessor, the single “Breath” reached No.1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock charts.
