Tunnel of Love is the eighth studio album by Bruce Springsteen released in 1987 (see 1987 in music).

In 1998, Q magazine readers voted Tunnel of Love the 91st greatest album of all time. In 1989, it was ranked #25 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "100 greatest albums of the 1980s".

In 2003, the album was ranked number 475 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time.

5 stars Why Tunnel of Love?
I remember when this album came out in 1987. It was a surprise since Bruce's Born in the U.S.A. was only released 3 years earlier. This was also a surprise in that Bruce was his most revealing both lyrically and emotionally. The twelve songs about love and relationship still hold up 13 years later. The music holds up just as well. This is mostly a quiet, thoughtful work from the Boss. While Born in the U.S.A. may have been misinterpreted by many, Tunnel of Love hits its mark. Perhaps that's why …

Tunnel of love was not for me mybe two song that i like. TOUGHT THEN THE REST AND SPARE PARTS.it mybe a hard time in his life at that time but don`t make it hard on us. IT`S A ok cd if you like sad sad song`s solo or not tunnel of love is not the boss. thank you.
