Winston Rodney (aka Burning Spear) is one of the best-known Jamaican roots reggae singers. His 1975 album Marcus Garvey, named after the black empowerment writer, is often regarded as one of the greatest reggae albums ever. In a prolific and productive career, he has released more than 25 albums, the latest being Living Dub, Vol. 5 in 2006.
