Overview Edit

Busted is the first album by British pop rock band Busted. It was released in Britain in September 2002 and peaked at number 2 the following January after the success of second single "Year 3000". "What I Go to School For", "You Said No" and "Sleeping with the Light On" were also released as singles and all reached the top 3 of the UK Singles Chart.

Busted was reissued soon after its initial release with three bonus tracks — "When Day Turns Into Night", "Everything I Knew" and "Extra Exceedingly Fitness" — while "Crash and Burn" adopted its single title of "You Said No". "Extra Exceedingly Fitness", a short interlude on guitar, is not written on the album artwork.

Six tracks were co-written with John McLaughlin and/or Steve Robson who often collaborate with each other. The other five songs were written by the band themselves.

Both "What I Go to School For" and "Year 3000" were covered by the Jonas Brothers in 2006.

5 stars Catchy Songs
Busted not only write their own songs but also DO play their own instruments. I saw them live and they were amazing. All the songs on here are harmless fun and take your mind off whatever's happening in your life. According the review posted just before this one the lyrics are childish just because they don't talk about r*pe or swear like Nas. You listen to music to forget your troubles, not become more depressed! Besides that's not even music, it's just someone rapping to a beat; I bet he doesn…

1 stars what a load of british tripe
im from uk and thought i would check out if busted were popular in america or not and it seems to be so. Im so happy about that. I know now it seems why only give it one star if im happy about that but im happy about that because it means hopefully there pathetic wankers will leave our country and move to yours so i dont have to hear anymore about stinking busted.

So come on america love them please. Take them away from us.
