Biography

Edit

Indie-pop band Camera Obscura were formed in Glasgow, Scotland in 1996 by TraceyAnne Campbell, John Henderson and Gavin Dunbar. After winning the early support of influential BBC radio DJ John Peel, they issued their debut album Biggest Bluest Hi-Fi in 2002, to a warm reception.

Second album Underachievers Please Try Harder was released in 2004, to more praise, and after Henderson left they released a third album Let's Get Out Of This Country, which brought them to a wider audience with more good reviews.
