Cascada is a German trio whose energetic trance-pop is already famous in Europe and is now finding its way onto the American charts.
Their debut album Everytime We Touch was released in America a year before it was released in Europe and although it only reached No.67 on the Billboard charts, it lodged in the Top 10 of many of the European charts. It has spawned several hit singles including "Miracle", "Everytime We Touch" (originally by Maggie Reilly), and "Truly, Madly, Deeply" (originally by Savage Garden).
Second album, Perfect Day, was released in 2007 (2008 in America), and included the track "Because the Night", a cover of the Bruce Springsteen-penned Patti Smith classic.
