Celtic Woman -- ‘Riverdance for the Voice’ -- comprises five Irish women who have brought traditional Irish music to a broader audience by merging it with classical and contemporary flashes.

Initially formed to take part in a concert organized for PBS television, they have released three albums, Celtic Woman (2005), Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration (2006) and Celtic Woman: A New Journey (2007). At one point, all three albums occupied the top three positions on the Billboard World Music chart.
