Chevelle is an American alt-rock band formed in 1994 who enjoyed platinum success with second album Wonder What's Next (2002).

The current members are brothers Pete Loeffler and Sam Loeffler together with brother-in-law Dean Bernardini. Their debut album was Point #1 (1999), released at a time when the band was marketed as a Christian band. Though it performed well, the real breakthrough came with the release of Wonder What's Next (2002). The album was finally certified platinum and the band featured highly in Ozzfest that year.

Their third album was This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In), which reached the Top 10 of the Billboard chart and produced three hit singles, "Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)", "The Clincher", and "Panic Prone".

Their most recent release was Vena Sera (2007).
