Cole Porter is one of America's greatest composers of musical comedies and one of the most prolific contributors to the Great American Songbook. Porter's most famous works include, Fifty Million Frenchmen, The New Yorkers, Anything Goes and Kiss Me, Kate. He contributed songs to many films and Broadway musicals and many of the songs that we know and love today were written by Cole Porter, most notably: "Night And Day", "Anything Goes", "I've Got You Under My Skin", "It's De-Lovely" and "You're the Top". Porter died at the age of 73, of heart failure. He is buried in his home town, Peru, Indiana.
