5 stars DV are amazing
I first heard of Darling Violetta on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and from that moment, I was hooked. Bath Water Flowers was definitely worth the two months it took to ship to the UK; every song has a very different feel to it and Darling Violetta provide a great balance between slightly surreal but distictly human lyrics and gorgeous tunes held together by the haunting sound of strings. This is a strange, beautiful, addictive and extremely versatile CD, despite its length. I recommend it to anyone with a soul.

2 stars Nice musicianship, didn't like the vocals
Heard about these guys through Buffy the Vampire Slayer, so I got the CD. Though the songwriting is above average, I have to say I couldn't get over the nasal quality of the singer's voice on most of the tracks. It's just too piercing for my taste...sorry!
