Crosby and Nash to Tour This Spring

Jan, 23 2011

Singer-songwriters David Crosby and Graham Nash will launch an eight-show spring tour in the Western United States with a March 25 show in Long Beach, CA. Originally half of the legendary Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, the band’s vocal harmonies took center stage and earned them legions of fans, but years of bruised egos have took their toll and the quartet no longer tours. For this go-round, the former-Byrd (Crosby) and ex-Hollie (Nash) will be accompanied on the road by an James Raymond (keyboards), Dean Parks (guitar), Kevin McCormick (bass), and Steve DiStanislao (drums) and will feature both acoustic and plugged-in performances. Tickets are on sale now. "Touring with a full band gives us the opportunity to do selections from our catalogue that Graham and I haven't performed live together before," says Crosby. "We will also be introducing some brand new songs we've written, that have never been heard onstage or on record." The duo are also launching their own record label, Blue Castle Records, with the first-ever digital and vinyl editions of the album Another Stoney Evening recorded live in 1971 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, CA.
