Deerhoof is a musical group currently consisting of Satomi Matsuzaki, John Dieterich, Ed Rodriguez and Greg Saunier. Their music is notable for its unpredictability, originality, and stylistic diversity. Beginning in San Francisco in 1994, their career has been characterized by prolific album releases, frequent tours, a DIY ethic, and a gradual rise to prominence in indie music.
