DJ Sammy

Spanish born DJ Sammy (real name Samuel Bouriah) began his music career in 1984 in the dance clubs popular with British tourists in Majorca. He has had four Top Ten hits in the UK charts with covers of previously successful songs including "Heaven" (Bryan Adams), "Boys of Summer" (Don Henley) and "Why" (Annie Lennox). The Dutch singer Loona was the vocalist for his cover of "Boys of Summer". He later went on to produce number one hits with her in Spain and Germany, the biggest hits were, "Bailando", and "Hijo de la Luna". His four albums have had their primary success in the UK and Europe. Sammy founded his own dance music label, Super M Records.

In 2005 he settled in Mallorca, with his studio, after selling, over, 20 million copies of all his productions.

Today, national artists such as David Bisbal, Chenoa, Marta Sanchez, Soraya, and the latest production, the entire album, for Nuria Fergó, in 2009, these productions hit the top of the latin music chart.

2009, Ministry of Sound, signed him to launch their new album, "Ministry of Sound Sessions mixed by DJ Sammy". They are also a major supporter of, DJ Sammys, www.MyClubRoom.com, a new concept, that encompasses a music Internet TV, on club events around the globe, plus, a weekly radio programme, hosted by Sammy, welcoming, world renowned, guest DJ´s from around the globe, including Ferry Corsten, Bob Sinclair, and many more. With over a million listeners, the show is becoming the most listened to FM radio nationally, and internationally, in Germany, Czech Republic, Brazil, South Africa, USA, and in 2010, the programme will be aired in other continents, both in English, and Spanish.

Summer of 2009, he released "Feel the Love" feat Nyah, the first single from his new album. Quickly followed by "4love", and his remix of, ´Michael Jacksons´, "EARTH SONG", with bigcitybeats recordings. The album in due to be released in 2010, with collaborations with some huge names like, `Black Eyed Peas´ writter, `Jean Baptiste´.

In 2009 he produced September, and Mikel Johnson, along with many other collaborations.

Sammy has also established a new label, "myclubroom recordings".
