Biography

Edit

Donell Jones is an American R&B singer who escaped a gang-blighted upbringing to gain respect as a singer-songwriter and producer. Solid songwriting skills earned him credits as author of several hits including Usher's "Get It Together" and "Think Of You" and he released his debut solo effort, My Heart, in 1996.

Four subsequent albums gained good positions in the Billboard 200 album charts, with 2002's Life Goes On reaching No.2. Several tracks have performed well in the singles chart, including his cover of Stevie Wonder's "Knocks Me Off My Feet" and "U Know What's Up", a collaboration with Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes.
