Biography

Edit

Drowning Pool is an American alt-rock band formed in 1996. The current members are Ryan McCombs, C.J. Pierce, Stevie Benton and Mike Luce.

They released their debut platinum album, Sinner, in 2001 having already established themselves while touring with Ozzfest. Unfortunately, their lead singer Dave Williams was dead by 2002, as a result of a form of heart disease. Forced to find a new singer, the remaining band hired Jason Jones and released Desensitized in 2004. When the relationship with Jones broke down, he was replaced by the current frontman, McCombs (formerly of SOiL).
