Eberhard Wächter (Waechter) (July 9, 1929 - March 29, 1992) was an Austrian baritone, particularly celebrated for his performances in the operas of Mozart, Richard Wagner, and Richard Strauss. After retiring from singing, he became an administrator of the Vienna Volksoper and the Vienna State Opera.
