5 stars the queen album
an excellent version of some of queen's best songs
Written by an unknown author
3 stars Stick to the day job Elaine
Elaine Paige has encompassed so much in her long career, from stage to television to radio and of course an extensive catalogue of recordings. This album of Queen covers has to be one of the odder moments in her career. Paige handles the songs well, in particular giving a passionate rendition of the ultimate Queen anthem 'Bohemian Rhapsody.' However you can never quite forget that it's Elaine Paige...singing Queen. It just doesn't suit her.
