Elbow Bones is another of many ficticious aliases Ron Rogers and August' Kid Creole' Darnell created. Darnell and Rogers both born and raised in New York City were big fans of big band. The top 40 hit written by the New York songwriter Ron Rogers and his wife DCClarkin Rogers was recorded at Electric Lady Studios NYC; Michael Frondelli engineering, August Darnell producing. Recorded live, Ron Rogers on piano, Carol Coleman; Kid Creole and the Coconuts bass player on bass.
