5 stars A sweet, sugary, beneficent debut from Emma Bunton
Sweet, sugary, beneficent: those are three words I'd use to describe Emma Bunton and her voice. Seeing those winner smiles in those magazine pictures, there is no way she could be a bad seed.

If anyone would be successful doing a solo album, I instantly thought of Emma. She was one of the better singers in the Spice Girls and A Girl Like Me is twelve songs of just her singing so yay! She co-wrote most of the songs and the consistent and cohesive sound boosts this album to the same level as Spice…

3 stars Good Job Emma!
Ok, I dont know why I am always so hesitant to blow off good music. Emma Bunton shines. I just love 'Were not gonna sleep tonight' It should have been her first single off the album. I also listen to 'Sunshine on a rainy day' repeatedly. It almost sounds like Madonna's 'Dont tell me' only peppier. I also love 'A girl like me' It is so true!!!

I have to say I dont care for 'What took you so long?' or 'Take my breath away' or 'She was a friend of mine'

I think she makes magic!
