New York-born John Jackson is better known as the rapper Fabolous. He released his debut single as Fabolous Sport, but came to prominence as Fabolous with "Can't Deny It", which helped to promote his debut album Ghetto Fabolous to platinum sales. His two follow-up albums sold well, but it was From Nothin' to Somethin' that has been his best performer to date. It went to No.1 in the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop albums and Top Rap Albums charts, debuted at No.2 on the Billboard 200 and has gone on to gold sales. He has also collaborated successfully with other artists: his contributions to the remix of Christina Milian's 2004 single "Dip It Low" earned them a Grammy nomination. He and Busta Rhymes featured on the Lumidee track "Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)" which was a hit on both sides of the Atlantic.
