Flyleaf is an American alternative metal band formed in 2000. The current line-up comprises Lacey Mosley (vocals), Sameer Bhattacharya (guitar), Jared Hartmann (guitar), Pat Seals (bass) and James Culpepper (drums)

The band was originally known as Passerby but changed their name upon signing to Octone Records. They released Flyleaf in 2005. The album featured the involvement of Dave Navarro (Jane's Addiction) and three singles were released "I'm So Sick" "Fully Alive" and "All Around Me".
