5 stars Gary goes Coastal and it Rocks!
I've always been a huge Gary Hoey fan, so when I found out he was not only releasing a new album (though he's done a couple of the songs before, like "Wipe out"), but a surf album, I was ecstatic! I could tell from the track listing before I even bought it that this album was going to be great. I definitely wasn't dissapointed. Gary adds a rockin' twist to a memorable genre of music from days gone by. All of the best surf songs ever are on it, but the best two by far are "Surfin' USA," and the t…

1 stars You've gotta be kidding me...
First off, let me state that I think Gary Hoey is a fabulous guitarist. Which is why I rate this CD with one star. Most of the songs are covers, and of that, some are re-hashes from other CDs. Come on Gary, give us a disc of originals. You don't see Satch or Vai spewing out other players materials, at least not pre-dominantly.
