Overview Edit

Seconds Out is a live double album by Genesis, released in October 1977. It reached #4 in the UK, remaining in the charts for 17 weeks. The performances were recorded in Paris in 1976 and 1977 on their tours in support of A Trick of the Tail and Wind & Wuthering. At the end of several songs the crowd can be heard encouraging the band to play another song by chanting "Une autre!" which literally means "another one". This is the final tour to feature long-time guitarist Steve Hackett.

2 stars Remastered Edition ? quite disapointing sound
I wanted to purchase this album for enjoying Genesis while driving (having the good old LP's) but as for other Genesis so-called "definitive remastered edition" I am very disapointed with the "flatening" effect of the end result : all guitars from Steve Hackett that are usually so crystal-clear and play like watermarks over Tony Banks keyboards are "drowned" into a melting pot and even the famous drums solo duo looks like an anemic copy of the first recording.

Too bad as well that the CD cover …
