Global Deejays, Global Playboyz or Ravers on Dope were an Austrian electrotech trio composed of DJ Taylor (Konrad Schreyvogl), DJ Mikkel (Mikkel Christensen) and FLOw (Florian Schreyvogl). Their first three singles were big hits in Europe.
Their song "The Sound of San Francisco" partially samples the 1967 (The Summer of Love) song "San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair)" sung by Scott McKenzie. The video includes scenes of the band in a decorated school bus driving through popular destinations.
In 2005 they won the MTV Award and the Eska.
On April 12, 2008, Global Deejays performed for the first time in San Francisco, the city that made them famous.
January 26 of 2009 saw the remixed version of Everybody's Free (To Feel Good) from Global Deejays debut on the Australian Aria Charts at number 33.
The song also peaked at number 4 on the Australian iTunes Chart.
This was due to the high amount of airplay during the television commercials over summer for Channel Ten's reality program called So You Think You Can Dance (Australia).
April of 2010 saw Global Deejays release "My Friend" with the vocal talents of Danish singer Ida Corr.
