Biography

Edit

Formed in Buffalo, New York in 1986, the Goo Goo Dolls are best known for the massive hit song "Iris" from the City of Angels soundtrack.

The success of "Iris", and Dizzy Up the Girl's "Slide" helped Dizzy Up the Girl achieve multi-platinum success and launched the Goo Goo Dolls onto the world stage. Their follow-up albums Gutterflower (2002) and Let Love In (2006) were also very successful, though they failed to reach the heights of Dizzy Up the Girl. Other hit singles by the Goo Goo Dolls include "Here Is Gone", and "Better Days".
