5 stars Better Days - Goo Goo Dolls
This is a beautiful song and one of the best I've heard from the Goo Goo Dolls. I have probably listened to it 40 times since it came out and it never gets old. It truely shows what a great band they are and I know the album will be worth waiting for!

I love the Goos, however I can only recommend this single only to diehard Goo fans. I don't expect Johnny and the boys to put out an album like Hold Me Up, Superstar Carwash, or even A Boy Named Goo, but it seems like they've lost their rocker souls and have settled for being banal adult contemporary (ac) musicians. Better Days lacks the passion, grit, and ingenuity of past songs like Name, Flattop, We are The Normal, Iris, and Two Days in February. Better Days sounds like the usual sappy drivel…
