Start Today is one of the best hardcore albums period. It had just the right amount of melody mixed with anger and positivity. Lyricly maybe not groundbreaking but they still did things a little different and a song like, Things We Say made kids think about the way they treat people. I found this album just a bit after it came out and was in high school and feeling like an outcast because I didn't think the same things as all the other kids and this was one of those albums that make you feel not…

3 stars Awesome piece of NYHC!
I lived for GB in the late-80s, and had the good fortune to see them open for Bold in '90. This cassette practically lived in my car those days. Many good times for me are associated with this disc, but that aside it's chock full of catchy tunes and inspiring lyrics. The production by Don Fury is, of course, excellent.
