5 stars Harry gives these standards a twist!
I love this CD!!! Harry's arrangements are always interesting and innovative, and he doesn't disappoint on this one. "My Prayer" is simple and haunting. "You Don't Know Me" showcases his vocals and piano skills. "My Blue Heaven" has a fun, latin rhythym flowing through it! Harry's voice takes a front seat on this whole cd, and you can hear how it too, has matured as an instrument. A definite "Must-add" to any collection!

3 stars Kind of blah...
I am a huge Harry Connick fan, have seen him in concert... own many of his recordings... listen to his Christmas albums to the point of annoyance...

That being said, I wasn't all that thrilled with this album. I purchased it for my wife for Valentine's Day but it's taken a backseat on the shelf for us.

Maybe I'm just used to the remakes of a lot of these songs, but the tempo that HC uses here is just way too slow and boring. The arrangements are nondescript and overall it's just kind of blah.
