Biography

Edit

Harvey Danger is an American rock band formed in 1992.

Their debut album Where Have All the Merrymakers Gone? was released in 1997 and it sold well locally but initially made no impact at a national level. When, at last, the album gained national interest it was as a result of the breakthrough single "Flagpole Sitta" which reached the Billboard Top 40 and featured in a number of television shows and films.

The release of the follow-up, King James Version (2000), was delayed as a result of record label wrangles and sales suffered as a result of declining momentum. Consequently, the band split for three years, reforming in 2004. Upon their reformation they played shows to an excited and loyal fanbase and released the EP Sometimes You Have to Work on Christmas (Sometimes) (2004).

Little By Little… was released in 2005. Initially it was a free download and by the time the physical album was released it sold out fast; a testament to the advantage of harnessing the powers of the internet.
