5 stars Awesome CD...
This is an awesome CD of Idina's and her newest one is even better. Dont pay the insane amount these people are asking for it used. If you go to Idina Menzels personal website u can order the CD's for a under $20. U can also buy the new CD at the Gershwin Theater in NY if you go see Wicked. I have been an Idina fan since she first started in Rent. She is just an amazing singer/songwriter/performer. Go out and get her CD's and get them through her site. 3 stars Good first effort. Great vocals
While I may question the motive of the first 34 reviews here by "a music fan" (can someone say record label promotion or crazy obsessed fan??? lol), I have to agree that her vocals on this album are fantastic. I especially like the gospel-ish section on the title track, "Still I Can't Be Still". Another fantastic track, somewhat bizarre with an odd forceful undercurrent drumbeat is "Straw into Gold" where she sings with a sort of worried passionate plea.
